This it's strangely soothing but then misery loves company, it keeps the voices quiet at least. :D ;)

I really like this version. The video is so strange but her voice is just too cool.

This was his opening song.

I am in love.

Lovely children's bedtime song.

Interesting^.

There's a real sort of Folk influenced musical vibe happening atm, I'm really digging it. Ok I'm going to stop sounding like a reject from the 60s now.

Mumford and Sons are good, but other bands seem to be springing up. Clearly this is not restricted to UK music.

oh, no! I like the folky stuff as well!

I don't think that makes us 60's wannabes... not even hipsters. I think it merely means...

we have taste in music...

I was more referring to my use of the word digging it and yes we have taste in music clearly. :)

My mothers into bluegrass as well, which is interesting. Sounds very Irish folkey not surprisingly. She likes blues and gospel and Jazz too Muddy waters Howling wolf, Aretha Franlklyn and so on and soul, The Beatles, The Who etc. probably where I got my musical taste from.

:)

Yeah, bluegrass is a Americanized immigrant music, with roots in Scotland and Ireland.

It's weird when you notice it the first time. We have friends who are musicians who moved to Tennessee and realized, wait, I know this music!

One of my recent passions is Turkish singer Sebnem Ferah.

This is one of my favorites by her, but it is only one of many. She doesn't sing in English, but I have seen some translations of her lyrics. Quite Beautiful.
