:director: As you may have noticed, I've reworked the banners on the front page. There's likely to be at least one more added. I've done this to try and up our visibility on the 'net, and, I would appreciate it if once in a while you'd click on one. It will raise our 'count' and thus up our visibility on other sites.

Also, I've added a favicon. If you have feedback on that, or the banner ads that you see, please let me know. Thanks!

In addition, phpbb has a code update, so I'm waiting until I have a little time before I install that (I don't want us having to survive the sharks with me having to go to work or something). I'll give you more heads-up, but it will involve the board being down for some time. As I understand it should just be minutes, but the way things go, it might be hours.

And yes, everything will be backed up at least once ...

a time date announcement would be good to hold off posting until it's over.

I just realized - the font size is smaller than the usual forum size, which makes it more friendly for news but less for individual posters. Maybe something to consider.

Ummm ... Actually, I haven't changed anything like that (or installed the update yet), so I'm not sure what's at play there ... :dontknow:

Anyone else had similar issues?

I think the default font size is just set a tad smaller, that is all.

Just compare with IIDB or TR or RnR etc. The font size is a little larger. The size here is set to be more friendly for information-dense stuff like news. Whereas discussion forums tend to have larger font.

in that case, leave it small.

run a poll, see if anyone cares. But if smaller font means people will be more 'serious', LOL!

and a good one.

I hope you could tell I was being silly.

I did notice it as well, and thought I had done something at my computer.

Well ... There's no where in the control panel that I can simply change the font size ...

Perhaps I could set up a style with larger-sized fonts? :dontknow:
