:director: You may have already noticed that I've added some prefixes to the names of the fora here.

This is do to with some complaints that folks have had about the 'cryptic' nomenclature that makes our board 'hard to navigate'. :dontknow: Anyhow, if you don't like it let me know. I'd also like to know if you do, just so that I can get some feedback.

Thanks!
:salute:

Hmm ... If anyone has any suggestions for the 'Elmwood' area, I'd be happy to hear 'em!

It's a good start but you still have too many boards for not enough content. The three "Religion" boards could be merged into one, for example.

Oh, and if you really want to make the place easy to navigate for new arrivals just use the "prefixes" without the "This is named in honour of some obscure deity that you've probably never heard of", beacuse having that after the prefix just draws attention form it and makes the page harder to scan.

yeah, so's me wearing it as a hat.

Is it a good option? We have no subfora yet. It wouldn't be too much. Or it could be.

Oh wise and mighty Os, I throw myself on your mercy!

:laughing3: Hey I'm just giving an opinion. It's your board so you can do wotcha like.
I co-admin a forum that has over 110,000 posts and only 20 boards, including the private ones.

ah, but telling me an option is an option is telling me water is wet.

Is it a good option?

I hate subfora. But we have none, and I think that group would work.

and I trust you. Not going to do what you say blindly, though. I don't think you want us to.

It'd work but personally I'd just throw the lot in one board called "Religion". Up to you.
I think having a few sub-fora here and there can be useful at times but they shouldn't be overdone.

Thanx, Hex and jess. It's much easier to tell what's what now; one does not have to look in the forum descriptions.

And I'm still stumped about Elmwood.
